Farewell 2023. Welcome 2024

Douglas Bostock ended 2023 and began 2024 with concerts with his Southwest German Chamber Orchestra in their hometown of Pforzheim. The New Year's Eve concert played to a capacity audience in the main hall of the CongressCentrum. Music by Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Bizet and British composers saw the old year out in festive style. The traditional Epiphany Concert on 6th January gave Douglas Bostock and the orchestra the opportunity to greet listeners with a fascinating programme titled "Heimat" (Homeland) with music by Coleridge-Taylor, Schreker, Komitas, Albéniz and others.

The next stop for Douglas Bostock is Japan, where he will spend the second half of January.
