Douglas Bostock Career Award

Douglas Bostock was presented with the 1st GMBC Career Award for his contribution and service in the world of wind music at a ceremony in Geneva on 30th October 2021. He was selected from a field of distinguished musicians by a worldwide popular online vote. The award was presented by Prof. Daniele Maggiore, CEO of BAM Music. Attending the ceremony were the GMBC Competition jury members, including Franco Cesarini, Jan van der Roost, Bert Appermont, Jacob de Haan, Delio Goncalves, José Alcacer Durà and Paulo Mazza - a chance for Douglas Bostock to meet up with good friends. The event was was streamed live on Facebook.
