Final Subscription Concert

In May Douglas Bostock conducted his final subscription concerts as Principal Conductor with the Argovia Philharmonic in Switzerland and bid farewell to his loyal subscribers. He will step down at the end of the season after 18 years at the helm. It was also the last programme in the season 2018/19, dedicated to British music, with Bridge's "The Sea", Hoddinott's Euphonium Concerto (Swiss Premiere) and Vaughan Williams' "A London Symphony". The soloist was the internationally renowned euphonium virtuoso, Steven Mead from Great Britain.
